Solid slow growth pine, this platform bed has a beautiful tight grain with small knots for beauty.  The lacquer finish protects and brings out the natural luster of the wood.  This product is also available unfinished by special order, allowing staining, stenciling or painting.  The mattress can go directly on the slats doing away with the need for box spring or bed frame.
